Palestinian engineers are among the makers of the helicopter that flew over Mars:

A Palestinian engineer was also part of the team that created and built the helicopter on Mars recently from the well-known US space agency NASA. According to a report by a foreign news agency, Louis El Bassioni was born in Gaza and now lives in the US state of California. Commenting on the successful mission, he said it was just an idea that we could fly to Mars. For this we also developed a toy-like aircraft. He said that the aircraft was tested in a special laboratory of NASA which did not show any significant performance at the beginning. "After a number of calculations and tests, we were able to create a model that could fly in the atmosphere of Mars," he said. "Until 2014, I was working with other NASA teams," El Baysoni said. "When the mission to actually fly a helicopter to Mars began, I got a call to join his team, but I couldn't control my emotions and cried," he said. "I was very satisfied the day our helicopter landed on Mars," he said. I became part of a history that no one could have imagined before.
