Tokyo, the capital of Japan, was fifth, Vienna, the capital of Austria, was sixth, and Auckland, New Zealand, was eighth.

Taiwan's capital Taipei is ranked ninth and Australia's Sydney is ranked tenth in terms of quality of life.
