Mahmood Rasheed Punjab Local Government Minister

 Mahmood Rasheed has been given the portfolio of Punjab Local Government Minister.

Punjab Minister for Housing Mahmood Al-Rasheed was also given the ministry of Local Government and Community Development.

Tahir Khurshid, Principal Secretary to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar, issued a notification regarding handing over of the Ministry of Local Government to Mahmood Rasheed.

Earlier, senior provincial minister Aleem Khan held the portfolio of local bodies.

Abdul Aleem Khan is currently the province's senior minister and provincial food minister. After the resignation of Aleem Khan, the Chief Minister of Punjab was looking after the local bodies.
